These instructions are for manually installing a Chrome Extension outside of the Chrome Web Store. Normally, this should not be required as you can download the latest from the Chrome Web Store. In some cases, Google takes many days to review a small update, which can be very frustrating -- especially when working on fixing issues that are affecting our users!!

You will likely want to uninstall or disable the extension that you installed from the Chrome Web Store that was having issues.

You can download the latest version of our Chrome Extension by downloading the zip file from the link below and following these instructions. UNZIP this zip file into a new folder, you should name the folder something like 'Esferas' so it's easy to find. Do NOT unzip directly to your desktop because it might interfere with existing files there.

See here for a short video of instructions: https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQu4o75W

In Chrome, go to the menu (the three dots at the top).

Click 'More Tools' and then 'Extensions'.

Toggle 'Developer Mode' and then click 'Load Unpacked Extension'.

Navigate in this file dialog until you locate where you unzipped the downloaded zip file.

You should now have the latest version of our Chrome Extension!

Unlike the version from the Chrome Web Store, this version will not automatically update when we release new versions. This will function as a workaround until we get Google to release our latest version in the Web Store.
