Message Templates are user designed messages that include configurable replacements and provide tailored, targeted messages for your Prospects. Each Message Template can be included in an Action Sequence for either new or existing connections. 


Once a Message Template has been created, it becomes available in the Action Sequence drop down. 


To Create a Message Template:

  1. Go to Message Templates in the left navigation panel
  2. Click Add Template in the top right hand corner
  3. Enter a description or unique name for this Message Template in the Name field
  4. Add a customized message based on your targeted prospects to the text box. 
    *Utilizing Dynamic Fields will tailor your message and make it more personalized. 
  5. Save Changes 


To Add an Action Sequence:

  1. Go to Action Sequence in the left navigation panel
  2. Choose Add Sequence
  3. Enter a description or unique name in the "Name" field
  4. Select the Priority for this sequence
  5. Complete each of the fields for up to five actions
    • Choose the Action from the drop down list*
    • Select one of your designed Message Templates (not available for "Visit" actions)
    • Determine if you would like a Delay to occur between each step (anywhere from 0 to 60 days)
  6. Save Changes 


*Per LinkedIn's docs, you are only allowed to message your first-degree connections (i.e. people you're connected to). We do not yet support utilizing InMail messaging via Esferas.
